1. Purpose & Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the mandatory rules and standards governing the conduct of all users of Paylenta Technology LTD ("Paylenta"). This policy works alongside our Terms and Conditions to safeguard our financial ecosystem from illicit activity, fraud, and cyber threats.
2. Prohibited Financial Activities
- Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing: Engaging in pass-through velocity transactions (>80% immediate cashout of deposits within 30 minutes) designed to obscure funds origin.
- Structuring ('Smurfing'): Splitting transactions into smaller amounts to deliberately bypass KYC Tier limits or CBN reporting thresholds.
- Identity Theft & BVN/NIN Impersonation: Submitting identity credentials belonging to another individual, whether with or without permission.
- Gift Card Fraud: Submitting fake, stolen, altered, or previously redeemed gift card codes.
- Chargeback Abuse: Filing fraudulent bank recall claims or double-claiming transactions already settled.
3. Prohibited Crypto & Darknet Activity
Users are strictly forbidden from utilizing Paylenta crypto services for:
- Interacting with darknet marketplaces, ransomware wallets, or illicit gambling portals;
- Transacting with coin mixers, anonymizers, or tumblers (e.g. Tornado Cash);
- Sending funds to addresses associated with sanctioned entities under OFAC, UN, EU, or NFIU watchlists.
4. System Integrity & Cyber Security
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or probing Paylenta mobile app source code or APIs;
- Automated scraping, bot exploitation, or flooding server infrastructure with excessive requests;
- Attempting credential stuffing, phishing, or account takeover against other Paylenta accounts;
- Creating multiple accounts using disposable or temporary email addresses.
5. Automated Monitoring & Enforcement
Paylenta operates a real-time risk engine. Violations result in automated actions:
- Instant account freeze and withdrawal block;
- Forfeiture of fraudulent transaction payouts pending legal investigation;
- Mandatory reporting of suspicious patterns (STRs) to the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) and law enforcement prosecution.
6. Reporting Violations
If you discover a security vulnerability or suspect suspicious activity, report it immediately to security@paylenta.com.
